hunee is a good eater, he comes from a grey and boring city and he used to colour his environment with rap and soul music when he was young. now being a berlin resident for a few years - he is eatin disco for breakfast, any good music for lunch and slows it down for the dinner at the beach. in the night he prefers to spend his time cookin a special meal on the turntables and he loves to give musical hugs for dessert. he is a good swimmer too.

three weeks ago he gave us an incredible performance at tageins playing a bunch of old boogie and house tunes that really rocked the place.

das produktions- und dj-kollektiv soulparlor aus mainz besteht aus den
drei mitgliedern frank kraushaar, frank lotz und tobias müller. durch
eigene veröffentlichungen, diverse remixe und zwei langjährige
residencies im rhein-main-gebiet haben sich die jungs im laufe der
letzten jahre nicht nur in deutschland einen namen gemacht. ob in
philadelphia, new york, london oder berlin: die soulparlor crew ist ein
begriff.fast an allen produktionen, die auf ihrem ehemaligen label
"sense music" veröffentlicht wurden, waren soulparlor beteiligt. das
sind mittlerweile 15 maxis (soulparlor, care company, f, usw.) und die
unter eigenem namen veröffentlichte lp "the way we talk".auf die
produktionen folgten dj-bookings (tour in kanada und deutschland mit
atjazz, swag, rasoul) und remixanfragen für illustre namen wie atjazz,
juan atkins, oscar, swag, gammat3000, uvm. mit sicherheit ein beleg für
die geleistete arbeit und die zu recht erworbene reputation.

in zukunft wird das kollektiv mit veröffentlichungen für unter anderem
domus label "treble o" sowie neuen produktionen mit der "laser kru" aus
london und dem soulparlor eigengewächs "mc louie mumblez" auf sich
aufmerksam machen, im jahr 2008 soll außerdem ein neues soulparlor album
folgen.

musikalisch bewegt sich eine soulparlor session, wie auch Ihre
produktionen selbst, zwischen philly hiphop und nusoul, funky 70's
disco-, soul- und boogie-zunes über deephouse, nujazz bis zu ihrer
spezialität "london's finest" brokenbeats.

der bionic beat club ist seit jahren hier in freiburg in aller munde.

mit ihren monatlich stattfindenden veranstaltungen im drifters und der
jackson pollock bar und diversen dj-sets im kamikaze, white rabbit oder
der kts sorgen loco und radiation king regelmäßig für volle tanzflächen
und gute laune bis zum anschlag. für tageins konnten nun loco und und
sein kollege uncut - bekannt u.a. durch seine "mucke zum zucke"partys im
white rabbit und klub kamikaze - gewonnen werden, und natürlich werden
die beiden ihre gewohnte mischung aus bigbeats, breaks, electroclash und
mash-ups zum besten geben. viel spass!
